The Napier & Dalton Event Management Team is a great collection of passionate individuals seeking to bring a unique event to the Sunshine Coast. All small business owners residing in the region, they have worked extremely hard to develop the i am gr8ful 2012 Women’s Trans Ocean Golf Challenge – Australia VS New Zealand to a point where it will generate great interest in both local and International women’s amateur golf. Undoubtedly this tournament will elevate the region further as a golf destination and has the ability to become one of the most successful amateur events on the Sunshine Coast’s sporting calendar.

Darrell Dalton
Darrell Dalton is a PGA Professional with a difference. A qualified registered nurse, massage therapist, musician and academic gives this Golf Pro a well rounded insight into the golf swing as well as an undying passion for the game he has played for almost 40 years. Event management comes naturally to this multi skilled entrepreneur who joined with Geoff Napier earlier this year to form Napier & Dalton Event Management.
The result of this collaborative partnership is the Inaugural i am gr8ful 2012 Women’s Trans Ocean Golf Challenge – Australia vs New Zealand scheduled to be played out on the Sunshine Coast next July at the Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort & the Twin Waters Golf Club. “This event has the team very excited and it just seemed natural to offer women their own 5 star amateur golf tournament...this time the men have to take a back seat while the girls dust off their spikes and hit the fairways...a week of fun, resorts, Sunshine & Golf...what more could you ask for?
Michelle Dalton
This energetic and charismatic female dynamo has been featured alongside Dick Smith as a talented entrepreneur and possesses such valuable insights into large corporate and small business operation, that many seek her out to glean from her amazing knowledge.
Raised from a young age in one of Australia’s most successful family businesses she learned her stock and trade at the coal face and progressed to a senior position in charge of the Malaysian division in Kuala Lumpur where she worked for four years. Michelle’s experience in event management completes this teams amazing offering of skills and few are aware she was the major force behind Pro Hart’s final exhibition before he passed , an offering which saw Mr Hart’s DNA placed into many of his paintings.
Matthew Tovas
Don’t be fooled...this guy is the real deal. This young man’s tenacity and capacity for overcoming diversity is reflected in his ability to manage a first class web design and hosting business after suffering his first serious epileptic seizure last year.
Not many of us would handle this life altering condition with such maturity let alone shrug it off as one of life’s curve balls. Brushing himself off, Matthew quickly reassessed his aspiration of returning to university and completing his degree, and instead entered into the world of small business. MGT Web Design & Hosting is growing each day and Matthew’s ability to deliver a high class product that works is gaining him a reputation as the guy to go to when you need something done...and done well.
Kalamoana Bailey
Graphically gifted and naturally nice, this university trained graphics specialist offers her cool designs to both business and non commercial enterprises or individuals seeking a fresh perspective. Lens Print in association with MGT Web Design & Hosting is a dynamic partnership collaborating on projects involving intricate and fabulous design concepts, while working closely with clients and within the brief provided.
Matthew Tovas & Kalamoana Bailey have worked closely with the Napier & Dalton Team to create this dedicated event website facility to support the 2012 Women’s Trans Ocean Golf Challenge. Clean lines and great graphics combined with a practical functionality is what the team asked for and they delivered with flying colours.
Jim Frisino
Originally from New York, Jim Frisino has been living on the Sunshine Coast for the past ten years where he continues to create wonderful pieces of art in many forms...caricatures being one of these. An acquaintance and golf student of PGA Professional Darrell Dalton, Jim was approached to provide a range of caricatures for Golfing Passport clients and when Napier & Dalton Event Management formed the concept transferred quite naturally to this women’s tournament.
This is definitely a unique offering that creates a point of difference compared to other amateur golf tournaments but beyond that it is a fantastic way of providing players with a wonderful keepsake of the 2012 Women’s Trans Ocean Golf Challenge...their experience captured by Jim’s magnificent caricatures.
